Smart sensors are much more than simple sensors. Smart sensors are designed with the idea of electronically storing their parameters (serial number, type, etc.) and calibration data in a circuit mounted on a cable or inside a connector. In this way, you can connect multiple different types of smart sensors to a reading device or directly to a PC, and both these sensors and their calibration data will be recognized. The sensor sends digital calibration data to the device (computer or data logger).

The main feature of the smart sensor used in the Syrinx system and connected to the ZED module is the recalibration procedure: simple, fast and inexpensive. You do not need to remove the ZED from its position. You do not need to send the sensor to Tecnosoft for recalibration, so there is no need for monitoring. Before the calibration expires, order the recalibration service of the smart sensor. You will receive new sensors to replace the expired sensors, which will later be sent back to Tecnosoft.

All smart sensors are accompanied by an Accredia (NIST equivalent) traceable calibration certificate.

Standard cable lengths (50cm) are available, but different rigid stainless steel probes are available: 30mm or 80mm, round or pointed

Use an extension rod to extend the cable length

Transducers and devices can be switched without loss of calibration.
